Apply for Mentorship
For startups applying for the Rosenman Executive Mentorship program.
The UCSF Rosenman Institute Executive Mentorship program identifies an executive that is a good fit for a company entrepreneur based on expertise required and specific industry experience. Mentors have C-level executive experience with a proven track-record. If there is mutual agreement on a match, a template Executive Mentorship agreement is provided to establish the relationship. The entrepreneur must agree to take the Founders Pledge upon execution of the agreement and grant the mentor 0.25% equity which vests monthly.
The executive provides mentorship for up to six months, an average of two hours per week, or more by mutual agreement. During this time, the relationship is confidential. If the six-month “get to know you” engagement is successful, the parties move to a non-confidential, more permanent relationship, with the mentor becoming a board member or other formal advisor.
Company Eligibility
Companies are eligible for the program if they are incorporated, have raised a minimum of $100,000 and the entrepreneur seeking mentorship is a full-time employee of the company.
