Access to Funding

Rosenman offers access to funding directly through MedTech Venture Partners as well as via our network.

Get Connected

Every start-up journey requires access to funding and to seasoned investors that can help your business grow. This access is a critical component of what we offer our Rosenman Innovators and Founders Pledge members.

Through our own venture fund, MedTech Venture Partners, we invest in health technology companies, alongside other prominent investors.

We also match entrepreneurs and investors during our annual Rosenman Innovator cycle, culminating in the Rosenman Symposium where we gather investors and the broader healthtech community for presentations from each company in the current Innovator cohort.

“We are proud to reinvest 100% of our returns from MTVP back into the UCSF Rosenman Institute, contributing to the ongoing health of the ecosystem.”

MedTech Venture Partners (MTVP)

We launched our own venture fund in 2018, raising $31 million for Fund 1 of MedTech Venture Partners. Our goal with the fund is two-fold: one, it enables us to invest in health technology companies alongside other prominent investors, and generate a return we can re-invest in Rosenman. And two, it gives us invaluable insight into the start-up world, enhancing the counsel we are able to provide our companies. MTVP now backs a portfolio of 10 companies.

Network Introductions

One of our primary goals at Rosenman is to connect entrepreneurs and investors to form long term, mutually beneficial relationships. Our main opportunity for matchmaking is the annual Rosenman Innovator cycle, culminating in the Rosenman Symposium where we gather investors and the broader healthtech community for presentations from each company in the current Innovator cohort.
