Dr. Tim Keane, CEO and co-founder of TYBR Health, has a background in bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and postdoctoral research in regenerative medicine at Imperial College London. With a focus on biologic materials, he has dedicated nearly a decade to developing biomaterials aimed at improving surgical recovery. TYBR Health was formed out of Texas Medical Center’s Biodesign Fellowship (Houston, Texas), has been awarded multiple grants from the NIH, and has the backing of Y Combinator. TYBR is a pre-revenue medical device startup targeting its first 510(k) submission by end of 2024.
