Ruth Krystopolski, President, Ayin Health Solutions at Providence Health

Ruth Krystopolski serves as the President of Ayin Health Solutions. She joined Providence on November 29, 2021. 

Ruth is committed to ensuring healthcare is affordable and accessible to all. She is driven passionately by bringing value to communities through enabling solutions, partnerships, and collaboration. Ruth has broad and deep experience across the healthcare continuum, including: value-based care, system-level care management, employer solutions, and call center capabilities. Throughout her experience, she has led technology and analytics solutions to help empower forward progress supporting providers, employers, and payers on how care is delivered. 

Ruth is an active leader with an eagerness to serve; bringing her experience in value-based care and population health solutions to further the Ayin mission of enabling communities to manage healthcare locally. 

She comes to Providence from Atrium Health, where she served as the Senior Vice President of Population Health. At Atrium, she was responsible for the development and implementation of value-based care models across the organization. Ruth also led the system level Care Management, Employer Solutions and other Value-Based Programs and provided oversight of the Poison Control Center in Charlotte, NC in partnership with the State of North Carolina. Ruth led the coordination of the Population Health work across the broader organization which includes key stakeholder such as Information and Analytic Services, Community Health, Post-Acute Care, and others to align strategic goals with the overall mission and vision of the organization. 

Prior to joining Atrium Health, Ruth served as the Senior Vice President for Population Health at CHRISTUS Health. In this role, she managed risk-based products offered by CHRISTUS Health, implemented requirements resulting from the Affordable Care Act, monitored changes in healthcare environment and worked with the leadership to examine impact to CHRISTUS Health, developing new models to ensure the continued success of the organization. She led the coordination of initiatives including, but not limited to, value based and alternative payment arrangements (such as bundled payments and potential accountable care organizations) and worked together with colleagues on implementation of new delivery models. 

Prior to CHRISTUS Health, Ruth served as Executive Vice President of Care Innovation for Sanford Health and President of Sanford Health Plan in Sioux Falls, SD. Prior to joining Sanford, Ruth served as Chief Operating Officer of Glacier Community Health Plan in Kalispell, MT. She has also been involved in network development and plan operations in several health plans in Pennsylvania. She has an undergraduate degree in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
