Micaela Laber
Micaela provides regulatory and policy consulting services to businesses spanning the health care industry, from international pharmaceutical manufacturers to startup digital health and device companies. Originally from the Silicon Valley and now based in Washington, D.C., she closely tracks shifts in the landscape of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial coverage and reimbursement policies, helping companies understand the practical impact on their organizations and the opportunities and risks that the changing environment presents.
As a Senior Associate with ADVI Health, Micaela follows activity from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Congress on subjects such as telehealth, hospital payment systems, biosimilars, and state programs. She also conducts landscape analyses of payer coding and coverage policies to determine CPT coding strategies for cutting-edge technologies.
Prior to joining ADVI Health, Micaela worked at a gene therapy organization in Dublin, in government and community relations at the California Academy of Sciences, and on a U.S. congressional campaign. Micaela is a candidate for the MPH and MBA at Johns Hopkins University and holds a BA from Claremont McKenna College.
