Dr. Gill completed his medical training at the University of Southern California before joining the radiology program at the University of Texas Southwestern. His prior research was primarily in neuroscience, including energy delivery such as ultrasound for neurological drug delivery. Subsequently, Kirt gained experience in clinical/regulatory strategy and business development at a seed stage medical device startup in the orthopedic space. He also managed deal flow and performed opportunity assessment for a venture development group focused on medical devices. His passion for innovation and understanding in the field of Neurology has been a driver throughout his career. Eventually, it lead him to the Biodesign Fellowship at the Texas Medical Center, where the idea for NeuraStasis was born.
