Joe is an experienced investor with a passion for disruptive innovation. He served as CEO of several device companies, including Cilco AG, Gynecare, Insound Medical, Ioptex Research, and Origin Medsystems. He was also a member of the founding management committee of Guidant Corporation (acquired by Boston Scientific) and led two of its operating units. He invested (seed, angel, venture & private equity) in numerous private and public companies, including Align Technologies, Axogen, Hansen Medical, Intuitive Surgical, InSound Medical, nCourt, TearScience, and others.
