Joe Connolly is using his background in biomedical engineering and medical devices to create technology to help close those access gaps in a scalable way. That’s the vision of Visana Health – to empower women to receive comprehensive, best-practice care. Previously, he led a medical device strategy & innovation team that developed a patient-focused innovation methodology. By mapping disease states, patient pathways, and health system barriers that hinder optimal patient care, they partnered with multiple top-tier health systems in the United States and Europe to implement a digital health solution that improves patient outcomes and reduce costs. Joe holds a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Duke.
