Dr. Delphine Huang is a medical director at IDEO in the Health Studio. She works closely with design teams to bring impactful and innovative ideas to life. Her projects span from health products, services, systems and strategy design. She is also a practicing emergency medicine physician at UCSF/ZSFGH and Kaiser Permanente.  She is also a Stanford University Biodesign Fellow graduate with a focus on medtech innovation and entrepreneurship.  She helps organizations apply design-thinking principles to identify unmet healthcare needs, integrate value-driven innovations, and make cost-effective decisions to drive impactful healthcare solutions. She is passionate about health equity and has led implementation/QI projects focused on care coordination for underserved communities. She holds a BA in Human Biology from Brown University and an MD-MS from the Joint Medical Program at UCSF/UC Berkeley. She completed her emergency medicine residency at UCSF. She loves hiking and biking the California coast, finding the perfect avocado, and continuously learning from her kid.
