David Cook is the SVP at UHG Ventures and VP of UHG R&D, where he supports the development of enterprise strategy on healthcare services design and innovation and evaluates potential matches with new companies. He was previously the Chief Clinical Officer of Jiahui Health where he was responsible for strategic planning, phasing, and standing up of clinical operations at ambulatory and hospital locations. David was a Professor Emeritus at the Mayo Medical School where he worked on understanding the effects of cardiac surgery and cardiopulmonary on brain oxygenation and metabolism. David is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and received a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota.
