Aman Mahajan, MD, PhD, MBA has served at the forefront of healthcare innovation, technology, and clinical care transformation throughout his career. He is an inventor and founder of health technologies and digital health platforms, and is an internationally recognized physician-scientist and clinical leader. Serving as a Venture Partner at Healthier Capital, Aman brings tremendous insights at the intersection of healthcare and technology innovation.

Aman also serves as a senior leader at UPMC (University of Pittsburg Medical Center)—one of the world’s leading integrated healthcare organizations with over 40 hospitals, 100,000 employees, an aligned health plan, and an array of innovative enterprises. As Senior Vice President of Health Innovation for UPMC Enterprises, he guides organizational investments for innovation and commercialization. At UPMC, Aman also serves as Chair, Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine, and as Executive Director of Perioperative Services. He also holds professorships in Biomedical Informatics and Bioengineering. Aman previously served as the endowed professor and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at UCLA Health. His research in healthcare technologies is supported by multiple NIH awards; he has published over 250 publications and serves on editorial and scientific boards of leading journals and societies.
