Grace Lin, MD, Internist, UCSF Health

Dr. Grace Lin is a specialist in internal medicine who provides primary care. Her research has focused on the appropriateness of medical care provided to patients, shared decision making and assessing the quality of decision making by doctors and patients.

Dr. Lin is also the Medical Director for Health Technology Assessment at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER). In this role, she works with the senior management, research, and economic modeling teams to conduct and oversee ICER reviews.

Dr. Lin earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she served a year as chief resident. She completed a research fellowship in general internal medicine at UCSF.
