Ian Duncan, PhD FSA MAAA, Adjunct Professor, UCSB Ian Duncan is an Adjunct Professor of Actuarial Statistics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). With over 40 years of experience in the healthcare field, Ian has served as a consultant, founder and president of three healthcare analytics companies, developer of software products, and manager of care management programs. He was the Vice President for Clinical Outcomes and Reporting at Walgreens and a consultant at Price Waterhouse and PwC. Ian is the author of three books, numerous peer-reviewed papers, and book chapters on health outcomes, predictive modeling, and risk adjustment.
