According to the American Heart Association®, cardiovascular disease has been the leading cause of death for U.S. adults for decades1. New solutions for improving and managing cardiovascular health are urgently needed but, too often, solutions that are effective and worthwhile never make it to patients because the development team was unable to involve all critical stakeholders at the right phase of the development process to ensure acceptance by patients, payers, and providers.

How It Works
UCSF Cardiology & Rosenman Institute BUILD offers an 11-month immersion program coached by experienced entrepreneurs and subject matter experts. BUILDers will have access to a range of UCSF Cardiology & Rosenman resources, including but not limited to stipends, expert counseling, and grant writing.
