About Christine Mathews
Christine Mathews is the founder and CEO of Christine Mathews Consulting. She started Christine Mathews Consulting, Inc. in 2005 to provide high-quality outsourced Human Resource services for small firms and companies. In her consulting practice, she served as consulting Head of People /HR and executive team member at Revance Therapeutics, BenvenueMedical, Baxano, Ceterix Orthopaedics, Achaogen, GRAIL, and LyellImmunopharma. She also worked as a consulting people leader at Versant Ventures, a premier life science venture capital firm, over many years including serving on the firm’s executive leadership team from 2015 – 2021.
Christine built her consulting practice from the ground up to 65 employees and 140 clients in June 2021 when it was acquired by OneDigital, a nationwide strategic “people” services firm. This merger provided the opportunity to access a broader array of people-related services for clients, as well as enabled the infrastructure to support additional growth. She continues to autonomously run her business unit as “Christine Mathews Consulting, a OneDigital Company”. There are now over 75 employees and 150+ clients, predominantly in the life sciences space.
