Hassan Zaidi, Principal, AMJ Capital
Hassan Zaidi is the principal of AMJ Capital. He has a B.A. in Economics from India and was a serial entrepreneur prior to founding Enterprise Capital in 2002. Enterprise Capital deployed equity in the lower mid-market space across a range of sectors returning 22 percent per year on an IRR basis for the life of two funds over eleven years. Hassan took an active role in running the two largest portfolio companies.
Hassan started AMJ Capital as an investment vehicle for himself and his business partner, to invest in early-stage companies focused on seed and growth investments. The portfolio of $100M is split between direct investments and fund allocations. The portfolio consists of life sciences and technology companies.
Hassan sits on the boards of three life sciences companies and three non-profits. He is also a member of the Cancer Leadership Council of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
