Ran Ma is biomedical engineer and serial entrepreneur with experience in medical device prototyping, project management, business development and marketing. Ran is a skilled networker and effective at finding resources for the team. She has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering (Johns Hopkins University) and is in the process of finishing her M.S. in Biotechnology (Northwestern University) and M.Sc in Business Administration and Bio-entrepreneurship (CBS). Previously, Ran has developed medical devices for the department of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University– biomasks to regenerate the human face for war veterans and burn victims. Last year, she was a co-founder and the CMO of Voltset, a Danish consumer electronics startup. She successfully ran the Voltset Kickstarter campaign, which raised $113,548 and reached 192% of the funding goal.
