Ozcan Cikmaz, Founder & CEO, CareX AI

He is driven to help people and save lives by developing preventive, contactless and language-free smartphone-based solutions. Currently, he is the CEO and founder of CareX AI based in Palo Alto/CA. CareX AI delivers an AI-powered, video-based remote patient monitoring platform that transforms any camera-equipped device into a remote patient monitoring solution. Especially reaching under-served communities is one of his main motivations. That is why CareX AI’s technologies can work even on low-tech smartphones and without an internet connection.  He co-founded the first startup in remote heart monitoring in Istanbul and the second one in dental and middle ear imaging in Paris.

Outside of business, Ozcan is a national athlete or competed nationally in 6 branches: hang gliding, high altitude winter climbing, skiing, biathlon, orienteering, and karate. His extreme sportsmanship includes surviving 7 avalanches, too. These experiences enabled Ozcan to thrive in high-pressure business environments.
