Evan Anderson received his BS in Biomedical Engineering (BME) with a concentration in Material Science and a minor in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University in 1998. There he conducted research for the FDA and assessed bone screw designs at Union Memorial Hospital. As an intern at Johnson and Johnson, Evan evaluated new materials for Internal Sanitary Protection products. While pursuing his MS degree in BME at Case Western Reserve University, Evan researched heart valves mechanics at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. For his graduate thesis he designed a heart valve fatigue tester.
