Adam Gold is the CEO of Moonrise Medical, a startup company dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of patients with peripheral arterial disease. An experienced medtech innovator and entrepreneur, Adam has held various roles at start up companies including Nasus Medical, Verve Medical, Dobi Medical International, and Novare Surgical Systems.  As the founding principle of Gold Product Development, Adam has also collaborated with numerous corporations and physicians to develop novel products.  His collaborations have covered the clinical areas of cardiovascular surgery, vascular surgery, femoral artery closure, diabetic needles, electrosurgery, spinal surgery, neuro surgery, renal denervation, and vascular intervention among others.  He is a named inventor on 40 US patents with additional pending. Adam graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and obtained an M.S.in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University where he concentrated in design.  He has also completed a fellowship in medical device innovation at Stanford University’s Biodesign program.
