Manisha Agrawal has over 20 years of experience in the social benefit sector, advising philanthropies and nonprofits in healthcare, education, and technology, among others.

Her work through her consulting firm Nivideum has included crafting and guiding strategic planning processes, expansion, replication, and organizational design with clients such as San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, UCSF Rosenman Institute, California Health Care Foundation, Children’s Health Council, Stanford Medicine, Stanford University, and EdX (an MIT and Harvard EdTech joint venture).

Manisha has directed several entrepreneurial teams, from the first public-private partnership between the Government of Maharashtra, India, and The Akanksha Foundation to a web 2.0 venture at KPCB (Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers). She has an operating background in the technology industry, with engineering development, product management, and leadership roles at companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, and Informatica.

Over the past few years, Manisha has served on the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council, as board chair of Stanford ACT (Alumni Consulting Team), Stanford Graduate School of Business’s pro-bono consulting organization, and on the boards of CHC (Children’s Health Council) and AIF (American India Foundation). She cofounded the Nueva School’s Diversity Steering Committee and spearheaded the innovative Community Dialogue series to build an inclusive and inquiring culture at the school. Deeply passionate about local social benefit, she has supported and led nonprofits associated with local government and grassroot entities.

Manisha earned her undergraduate degree in computer science and communication from Mills College with Presidential Honors, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. She is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast and lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two dogs.
