Perceptive Navigation

Perceptive Navigation is developing image-guidance solutions for the areas of emergency medicine, interventional radiology, and cardiology. Perceptive’s first product, the Vu-PathTM Ultrasound System, will target the $1B central vascular access market. Vu-Path™ is a hand-held, single-use, sterile, multi-lumen probe with an ultrasound imaging channel combined with a working portal for needles, guide wires, and other interventional tools. Vu-Path’s™ clinical advantage is that it provides health care providers with continuous real-time, “always in plane” ultrasound guidance for safer and more efficient vascular access. The company expects to launch Vu-Path™ in 2019 under a 510(k) class II submission.
