Wendy Johansson, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, MiSalud Health
Wendy Johansson is the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at MiSalud Health, a healthtech company with a mission to close the health equity gap for Hispanics in the United States. She is a global Product Experience leader and entrepreneur: building equitable teams and products across the world. Most recently, Wendy built Amazon’s UX Apprentice program, a DEI initiative that created access to tech careers at Amazon for entry-level Black and Latinx designers. Wendy was previously Global Vice President of Experience Transformation at Publicis Sapient where she worked in partnership with CXO John Maeda to forge Experience for Publicis Sapient’s client services. Wendy is most proud of co-founding Wizeline, a global product development company, where she was also VP of UX & Academy. She built a global team of 50+ designers, and founded Wizeline Academy, with more than 100 global tech programs and 4,000+ graduates within the first years of inception. From 2018, Wendy took on the additional role as Managing Director of APAC and expanded Wizeline’s APAC offices across Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney. Wizeline exited in 2021 to private equity. Her early career spanned across early stage startups such as Ooyala, AppNexus and Loopt. In her spare time, Wendy mentors the next generation of design leaders at the On Deck Design Fellowship, is an advisor to cybersecurity company Cerby and ADP List, which democratizes design mentorship worldwide, and is part of the venture board for CompuSoluciones’ LatAm fund.
