Tracy brings over two decades of senior operational and finance experience across the medical device, venture capital, and technology industries.
Most recently, Tracy was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer with Partners for Growth. In this role, Tracy led the financial, compliance and administrative functions of the firm which included six credit funds with more than $600M in AUM.
Prior to Partners for Growth, Tracy was the Chief Financial Officer of Aptus Endosystems, Inc., a cardiovascular medical device company that was acquired by Medtronic. As a member of the Executive Management team, Tracy partnered with senior management teams across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing and global Sales & Marketing functions to build and manage all operational and financial aspects of the business across multiple stages. Tracy was a key member of the team that led Aptus’ M&A efforts, resulting in the successful acquisition of the company by Medtronic.
Prior to Aptus, Tracy was the Chief Financial Officer of Synergy Life Science Partners, a medical device focused venture capital fund, where she was responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the firm, including investor relations. As an integral part of the investment team, Tracy helped negotiate over 20 financings ranging from $5M to $50M that led to investments of over $100M.
Earlier in her career, Tracy held Chief Financial Officer roles at Scale Venture Partners and Saints Capital, and senior finance and operating roles at technology start-ups. Tracy started her career at KPMG.
Tracy earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
