Matthew Lungren, MD, Chief Medical Information Officer, Microsoft
Matt Lungen, MD/MPH, serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at Microsoft and also maintains a part-time clinical interventional radiologist practice at UCSF. Before joining Microsoft, he was an associate professor at Stanford leading the Stanford’s Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) where his academic work led to more than 150 publications. More recently, he led clinical machine learning cloud technologies and business development at Amazon. Dr. Lungren also instructs a popular Stanford Coursera course, “Fundamentals of Machine Learning in Healthcare,” geared towards non-technical learners completed by more than 16k students.
