Dr. Matthew Gubens, MD, is a Professor of Thoracic Medical Oncology at UCSF and a Thoracic Oncologist specializing in lung cancer, including non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and mesothelioma. His research focuses on developing innovative treatment strategies for thoracic malignancies. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University, completed his residency at UCSF, and holds a Master’s in Health Policy from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
