Alison Lum is a managed health care executive in California with experience in Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial populations. As the Vice President of Pharmacy Services at Blue Shield of California, Alison leads the team that sets the strategy and manages operations for prescription drugs.

Prior to joining Blue Shield, Alison was the Director of Clinical Services at a local managed Medicaid plan, San Francisco Health Plan, where she was responsible for pharmacy benefits, utilization/case management and provider relations. Alison has experience in Medicare Part D, Programs for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly and account management.

She holds a doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed the California Healthcare Foundation Leadership Fellowship and the Stanford Executive Program.
