Alice Zhang, Co-Founder & CEO, Anise Health

Alice Zhang is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare, private equity, and behavioral health. She began her career in behavioral health product development at Galileo, where she designed and implemented the blueprint for integrating behavioral health services into Galileo’s primary care operations.

Her experience extends to private equity as an investor at Unison Capital, Japan’s longest-running private equity fund. At Unison, Alice established an investment platform to consolidate healthcare provider groups. In just one year, she built and led a ten-person team, streamlined internal operations, and successfully rolled up 10 provider groups generating ~$50M in sales. She also managed and executed the sale of a healthcare portfolio company to Blackstone for approximately $1B.

Alice holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia. She is also a Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach, blending her expertise in science, business, and wellness.

As a 1.5-generation immigrant, Alice has lived in Asia (China, Japan) and the West (Canada, the US, and France), giving her a unique global perspective on healthcare innovation and delivery.
