The 2023 UCSF Rosenman RISE event is a celebration dedicated to women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ founders. Through the RISE program, we have selected ground-breaking healthcare technology innovators who have received dedicated mentorship from leaders from the UCSF network and beyond.

The RISE Celebration will shine a spotlight on the 2023 Cohort of RISE Founders. These 11 founders, Cindy Blanco, Nicole Cook, Paul Campbell, Christopher Grace, Amy Li, Kwamane Liddell, Wendy Johansson, Jennifer “Jaki” Johnson, Shadi Saberi, Sandra Saldana, and Maryam Ziaei, are leading the next generation of healthcare by developing novel solutions for the future of improving people’s lives.

The event will feature a fireside chat with Christine Lemke, the co-founder and CEO of Evidation. Her exceptional leadership has paved the way for Evidation’s success, securing an impressive $153 million in funding in 2021 and earning the company the esteemed unicorn status. In her chat, Christine will share her journey as a women founder and CEO, detailing the challenges she’s overcome, and the inspirations that continue to propel her forward.
