About Ajay Dharia, MD

Dr. Ajay Dharia brings a unique blend of medical and venture capital expertise to the table. He received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by an engineering degree from UC Berkeley. He completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine and pulmonary/critical care at UCSF Medical Center. After his fellowship, he ventured into medical device development, focusing on artificial organ technology. Alongside his role at MTVP, he practices clinically in two ICUs in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing him with firsthand insights into the clinical and investor aspects of medical technology.
